Welcome BACCKKKKK to another episode of A Tall Girl’s Podcast! Finals week is upon us y’all. I’m actually recording this before finals week(s) starts, but by the time this is up we will be in the middle of the most hectic week of the semester. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to manage lol. But I’ve decided that in order to MOTIVATE myself and hold myself ACCOUNTABLE I will be doing a little challenge over on Instagram. And maybe TikTok??? 

So, for the next week-ish or so I will be posting every single day onto my Stories of my final finals journey for undergrad. Lowkey all I ever really post on my Stories are reposts of my feed posts or Reels and maybe like a sunset pic here and there. Like I don’t actively post on Stories. Which I’m hoping to change now. Kind of. By posting about my day-to-day activities for the next week. SO stay tuned and make sure you follow me to stay up to date. 

So for today’s episode, we will be talking about confidence. Well, one aspect of it. Summer is right around the corner (literally with the way that the weather is changing) and it’s time to be our best selves. Well, I mean we should be our best selves all year round but tbh it’s pretty hard to do that in the winter when it’s dark most of the day and we’re indoors all the time. 

But the summer is UNACCEPTABLE. And it’s a great time to start getting rid of the toxic traits that we have developed throughout the winter, one of them being negative self-talk. Negative self-talk plays a huge role in our low confidence and low self-esteem. 

“Oh I’m too tall for these heels…”; “Oh I wish I was shorter…”; “Oh I’m intimidating others with my height..” I’m sure that as tall women we’ve had our fair share of negative self-talk. So, today I will be providing tips and tricks on how to combat negative self-talk! Tune in to the full episode below!
