What a day, what a week, what a month! By the time this episode is published, it’ll be March! MARCH! Where has the time gone??? Fun fact, I wake up at about 6am some days of the week, and I’m so used to it being pitch black outside, but now the Sun is starting to come up at that time??? Like the Sun is actually rising earlier. It’s insane to me lol, but I’m so here for it. Who else is ready for spring??
Today is a rather interesting episode because people think they pretty much get the ‘gist’ of what it’s like being tall. Like being ‘better’ at sports (which honestly isn’t always the case), getting a higher paycheck, not being able to find clothes, hitting your head on low doorways, the usual stuff. BUT there are so many things that go UNPUBLICIZED. And I figured today, especially for my tall peeps, that I can bring that to light.
Health Problems
Yes, health problems. We literally have a higher risk of blood clotting, cancer, irregular heartbeat, varicose veins, nerve damage, skin and bone infections, WHAT. Listen, I am no doctor, so don’t quote me on this, but I think it has to do with the fact that we have more surface area, and our hearts have to work harder to pump blood and yada ya. I DON’T KNOW; I’m a business student so I don’t know. But this is a little scary.
Ok, but is it really that deep? What are other things that tall people are most definitely not prepared for? Tune in to the full episode below to find out!
