Ep. 89: You Don't Need To Be Shorter To Wear What You Want

You Don't Need To Be Shorter To Wear What You Want

what it's like being a tall girl, growing up tall, how to be sconfident as a tall girl

Gewd morning everybody! Welcome or welcome back to A Tall Girl’s Podcast! I’m so glad you made it. Genuinely. Lol why does it sound like you’re physically meeting me?? ANYWAYS, before I get into this episode, make sure you are following me on my socials @atallgirlspodcast on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest so that you can stay updated on the latest podcast episodes and check out some super relatable, super hilarious tall girl content!

This weather is off the walls y’all. This weekend, there was a whole tornado followed by an arctic blast. Okay, maybe there was a little exaggeration on the tornado part, but there was a LITERAL arctic blast. Like -13 degrees ARCTIC BLAST.  Can you tell where I live? I’m sure you can by now.

But I’m sure you didn’t click on this episode to listen to me rant about the weather. Today, we are talking about confidence in what you wear and finding clothes that make you feel good about yourself. This was inspired by my last episode (which you should totally check out) where I interviewed the founder and CEO of a tall maternity apparel brand (Raffe) and we just spoke about her journey as a tall mom and business owner and clothes for tall mamas, so I figured that I would talk about that (the clothing part) but for all tall women.

So, there are times when I’m in malls and trying stuff on in the dressing room that I’d hear girls say “oh, if I were shorter it’d fit better” or “I’d look so much better in this if I were shorter” Lol YES, I eavesdrop in the fitting rooms when I’m trying stuff on, don’t judge! I know you do it too. And these girls would be shorter than me! I’m 5’10.5” (which some of y’all don’t even consider to be that tall) so imagine that for a sec.

But here’s the thing…you DON’T need to be shorter to wear what you want. Why? Tune in to the full episode below!

Thank you so so much for tuning in to this episode; I really appreciate it and I appreciate you. As always, feel free to hit me up on my socials @atallgirlspodcast on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest and let me know what you thought of this episode and how life is going for you!
