Are There Any Advantages To Being Tall? | Are Tall People Smarter?, Short Jeans, 7-Year Old College Student 

This month is almost halfway over! Can you believe it?? I genuinely feel like just yesterday was August and now it’s mid-September? Where has the time gone? Now 👏 today, we are talking about something a little bit different from previous episodes; we’re going to be talking about some perks of being tall. I think that in this podcast, I focus a lot on the bad/annoying side of being tall with tall girl problems, negative comments people say, annoying questions they ask, etc. While I do want to have some relatability and humor in this podcast, I also do want to have some positivity here. Specifically height positivity.

And with talking about the disadvantages about being tall, why not discuss the advantages? So today, I will be diving deep into some tall girl advantages that I found on the Internet (yes on the worldwide web) and determining whether they're truly an advantage or just a random thing plastered on the Internet for views. Think of it as ‘tall girl reacts to tall girl problems’ but in a more positive light! Let’s get into it! 

Tall People May Be Smarter 

Ok but are they really? I mean, I’ve heard of those studies where there’s some type of link or correlation between height and higher IQs. But lowkey, I’m not buying it. There needs to be an emphasis on the ‘may be’ because there are some tall people out there that are actually dumb with a capital D. Storytiiiiiime! 

I was in class the other day and there was a man who was about 6’4” who walked in. Now, for context, this class was a Finance class. No, I did not take this class by choice, but because I am a business major, I am required to take it. But anyways, this man pulled up to class, sat down, whipped out his laptop, and started taking notes (I think). So any normal person would think he’s part of the class right? WRONG! Almost an hour later, he raises his hand and asks the professor “Wait, this isn’t environmental science?”

Like what?? Home girl has been talking about financial markets for the past hour; how are you just now asking that?? Idk, maybe a bad example, but all in all, I’m saying that not all tall people are smart (or smarter than shorter people).
