Ep. 55: I Wore Platform Shoes The Entire Night and This is What Happened...

I am baaaacckkk! From vacaaaattioonnn! Do I have terrible tan lines? Of course I do :) But I’m just happy that I even got a tan. It was the first one I got in like 2 years. TWO WHOLE YEARS. Oh my gosh does that mean I classify as Vitamin D deficient? Ok let me stop.
So, if you listened to my latest Tall Girl Q&A (which if you didn’t, totally check it out HERE), I revealed that I bought my first pair of platform sandals. And yes, I was SUPER excited about them. Honestly, I have every right to be. And I decided to wear them to a 100 year old’s birthday party!
Yes, I went away to help set up and attend a family member’s birthday party, but hey, it’s a great excuse to wear platform sandals though. And dare I say, it was a very eventful evening because of that.
The second I stood up, I was automatically taller than my dad (who is 6’1), but I feel like I was at least 6’2. I was over 6 feet for an entire night; we love that! Lowkey it felt nice being the tallest one in my immediate family.
Anyways, we arrived at the party looking FIRE AF. And the second I reached the entrance to the venue, I smacked my forehead on the doorway. Never in A MILLION YEARS would I have thought that I would EVER hit my head on a doorway, but there I was. From afar it really looked like I could make it, but clearly my vision was lying to me. So if you see a slight bruise on my forehead in any of my social media videos, you’ll know why it’s there aha.
Did people make comments on my height? Yes. Did something absolutely terrible happen because of my clumsiness? Of course! Tune in to the full episode below!
