Tall Girl Chats: Reflection of my Self Love Journey, New Year’s Resolutions, Self-Acceptance

Can you believe it? Can you BELIEVE it?? I’m sorry for the lack of introduction because I can’t believe it. This is my last episode of the 2021. My last episode of this year!  I honestly feel like just yesterday was June and I recorded my first episode of this podcast. What a long way we’ve come and a long way we’ve got to go. 

I just wanted to take this episode to have a little chat and just reflect on this past year. Because the main objective of this podcast was to go through my journey of self love and just learn to love my height and not be afraid to be tall! I wanted to spread this message too and invite other people to come along who are also struggling with their self esteem due to their height. 

Honestly, I’ve grown soooo much in these few short months and I really have A Tall Girl’s Podcast to thank for that. This whole thing has definitely changed my outlook on my height and body confidence. I believe that talking it out got a lot of things off of my chest and giving you guys advice has helped me in so many ways. Sometimes, you really just have to take your own advice right?

Who knew that daily affirmations could literally rewire your brain? And who knew that asking myself “Why is that person’s opinion really affecting me in this way?” can really get you thinking about whose opinion of you actually matters? I hope that made sense…

I’m just extremely grateful to be building this wonderful community and it’s funny because I was actually going to start this podcast summer of 2022, but here I am haha.
