Tall women have had their struggles with the fashion industry for the past few decades.
And this honestly comes as a bit of a shock since models are tall, whether walking down the runway IRL or appearing in photos on some of our favorite clothing sites. Well, these models are often short tall, but that’s an episode for a different day. But it’s not uncommon for a tall girly to go into a store and not be able to find pants, tops, dresses, shoes even because they’re too short or too small.
And this type of frustration has led to many tall women starting clothing brands for tall women to help solve this problem. And today, I’m interviewing one of those tall women.
I’m speaking with Melanie, fellow tall girly and co-founder of Ladies of Leisure, a clothing brand specifically for tall women. We’re going to talk about the story behind the brand, the struggles many tall women face, and some of the unique gaps in tall fashion. Tune in for more!
