Is The Tall Women’s Section Really For Tall Women?? | Tall Women Fashion 

And we’re back after the Thanksgiving holiday! Or not, I guess it depends on when you’re reading this. Nonetheless, I hope you had an amazing day, weekend, week, whatever it may be. I can definitely say over the holiday weekend some tall girl problems have definitely arisen and to make it even worse, one of my FAMILY MEMBERS was the cause of it. Can you believe it? Me neither! What a shock! 

It’s always that one distant cousin that’s like “oh my gosh! You’ve grown so much since I’ve last seen you!” Mind you I was like 10 when he last saw me. So 9 years later, I’m supposed to stay the same height? And then he goes on and on about how he wishes he had my height and of course proceeded to ask if I played basketball. I didn’t even mention that I used to; I just straight said “nope…it’s crazy how some tall people just don’t play any sports, right?” I think I came off a little passive aggressive, but who cares. 🤷 

Anyways, I don’t want to stem too far from today’s topics, which is the tall women’s section. This idea stemmed from an Instagram reel I saw earlier in the week (by the way if you don’t follow my on Instagram @atallgirlspodcast, you totally should because I have some pretty cool reels myself) where this girl was doing some online clothes shopping and she was looking through the tall women’s section. And she got annoyed because the models were predominantly 5’8” and their longest pants inseam was 32 inches. And all I can ask is WHY is no one else speaking about this! 

There is supposedly a tall women’s section meant for tall women and the best you could do is show a model who’s 5’8” and give a 32 inch inseam? I don’t want to discredit any models of that height or any pants with a 32” inseam, but is that what you really think of tall women? I’m on the shorter end of the tall spectrum; I’m 5’10”, and I have a 36” inseam. Whatever tall women’s section she was looking at can’t even fit me!
