It’s been a while since I’ve held a mic! The last time was before my trip, which was like a month ago. Seems so far yet it feels like it was just yesterday…I was hoping to be recording on my new microphone by now; however, I need a windscreen for it. I actually ordered one for pickup (because people stay stealing stuff in our apartment building :/) and I have yet to pick it up. Which is AMAZING. I intend to get it sometime this week so catch me with that new mic very very soon lol.

Etta Grove Product Review
Today, I'm excited to share my first-ever product review, partnering with Etta Grove, a brand specializing in extended size shoes and handbags. As tall girls, finding shoes that fit can be a real struggle. I did an episode with the co-founder of Etta Grove, which you should check out. Now, let's get into this product review.
Unboxing & First Impressions
Etta Grove's shipping was quick—3 to 4 business days. I ordered the Haleigh Casual Sneaker in tan canvas suede, size 9.5, which goes up to size 14. When the package arrived, it was well-packaged with a big box and a smaller box containing the shoes. The logo on the shoe box was cool, and the shoes had a nice fresh shoe smell.
The Haleigh Casual Sneaker has a slight platform, about 1 to 1.5 inches, which I don't mind. The tan color fits my preference for neutral tones. The canvas and suede material feels sturdy and high-quality. The sneakers have a helpful loop at the back for easy wear, and the grip on the sole seems solid.
Trying On & Styling
I'm no fashionista, but I paired the sneakers with a monochromatic outfit—dark blue pants that look almost black. The sneakers were comfortable and had long enough laces for a secure fit. I recommend wearing thicker socks as the shoes rubbed a bit on my Achilles heel, but it wasn’t too bad with the right socks.
I took the sneakers for a walk, about a mile, and they were very comfortable and sturdy. Even after walking on wet ground and puddles, my socks stayed dry. Overall, the Haleigh Casual Sneaker performed well, and I rate it 8.5 out of 10.
