Stand Tall and Proud | How To Improve Your Posture and Body Language to Exude Confidence

tall, tall girl problems

We are BACKKKKK with another episode of A Tall Girl’s Podcast. So glad you’re here :) before I get into this episode, I do wanna say make sure you’re following me on my socials @atallgirlspodcast on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest so that you can stay up to date on all of the latest podcast episodes and catch a glimpse of my everyday life. Also, feel free to leave me a review and let me know how tall you are!

By the time this episode is up, I will be finishing up my first week of my last semester of undergrad WOOHOOOO! However, by the time I’m actually recording this (which is a Sunday), I will have only completed 1 day lol. And it was weird because, I don’t know why they decided to make the first day of school at the end of the week, but that’s all them lol.

It was pretty interesting; I had my Business Policy class that day. No, I don’t know what that class is about lol because we spent the entire day playing an icebreaker game instead of looking at the syllabus. LOVE THAT. I get that it’s a great way to learn about your fellow classmates, but I think I’m at the point where I’m actually tired of doing icebreakers. They just seem so fake. Maybe it’s my senioritis talking…

Anyways, today we’re talking about posture. I don’t think I’ve ever spoken about this in depth on my podcast, which I find pretty weird because I feel like there are episodes where I said that I would do a whole episode on improving posture, but never actually did. And poor posture is a MAJOR tall girl/tall people problem so… But hey, better late than never.

If you’re tall, you will understand this: low sinks, low tables, low countertops, low desks, the bottom of bookshelves, oh my… We wonder why we’re constantly in pain; we really need to start looking at the everyday things and everyday tasks that are affecting our posture negatively. It’s not just that, but it can also be trauma, bullying, etc.

Let’s fix our poor posture together lol and explore the role posture plays in confident body language. Tune in below!

Thank you so so much for tuning in. I really appreciate it and I appreciate you. As always, feel free to hit me up on my socials and let me know if you have struggled with poor posture and if you still struggle with it or if you’ve improved it. I’d love to hear some more tips! I’ll catch you in the next one!

Goodnight and goodbyyyyyeee,

India
