I hope the new year is treating you well so far. No seriously, we’re like two weeks in. If you’re stressed out already, I’m a liiiiiittle concerned. A little left turn here, has anyone seen the new Godzilla movie? Homegirl was 2 HOURS LONG. And in Japanese??? Luckily there were English subtitles, but when the movie first came on and there were Japanese characters (like writing) on the screen, I was quite confused lol.
But nonetheless, it was good. I’m a big fan of Godzilla so it was pretty hard NOT to enjoy it. And it also beats the new Hunger Games movie that’s currently out. Now that’s 3 HOUR LONG. There’s no way I can sit in a movie theater chair for that long so I was like mmmm Godzilla it is! But I would definitely recommend the movie 9.5/10.
Anyways, today I’m sharing my story. I did say that I want to be more vulnerable on this podcast and share more with you guys as a goal for 2024. So this is me doing that and sharing my insecurities. I know I talk a lot about my experiences growing up and even now as a tall woman, but I never really spoke about why/how I became so insecure about my height.
The thing is, yes, I’ve been bullied, shamed, and ridiculed because I’m taller than my peers, but that isn’t the reason why I became insecure about my height. It all started when I began to play sports. Crazy, right?
So why did being an athlete make me insecure about my height? And it's pretty evident that I stopped playing sports, so how do I manage now? Tune in to the full episode below for more!
Thank you so so much for tuning in; I really appreciate it and I appreciate you. As always, feel free to hit me up on my socials and let me know how you became insecure about your height or anything else about you. We can be insecure together! Lol, why does that sound wrong???? I think that's my cue to skidaddle. I’ll catch you in the next one!
Goodnight and goodbyyyyyeee,
India
