How To Respond To Negative Comments About Your Height

We are BACCCKKKKKKK with another episode of A Tall Girl’s Podcast! So glad you’re here today :) Before I get into this episode, I do want to say, make sure you are following me on my socials @atallgirlspodcast on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest so that you can stay updated on all of the latest podcast episodes and catch a glimpse of my everyday life. Y’all it’s officially one of the best times of the semester: midterm season XD…..can you hear the sarcasm?? Yeah ahA. It’s quite literally midterm season and I’m not fully prepared for this. It’s been about a month of school and I have FINALLY gotten into some type of routine that works for me. And now BAM. Chaos, tests, and projects. They’re here to just screw it all up for me.
I’m telling you, these professors MUST be collaborating on these dates. Like their teacher meetings that are supposed to be centered around how to best serve their students are really for scheming on how to make us CRY. Because why are all due dates and test dates so inconveniently close together???? You can’t tell me that that’s not suspicious.
Anyways, if I’m not as active on my socials, y’all know why. No, I’m not ignoring you; I will respond to you if you hit me up (maybe a week later but still ahA). Gotta be on that grind, ya feel? Nonetheless, I’m still gonna get these episodes out for you guys.
Speaking of episodes, one of you guys actually left a comment under one of my videos and asked me to do an episode on how to respond to negative comments about your height. Funny thing, this person is 5’9” and in college and STILL gets comments on their height. They’re now confident in their height but they just don’t know how to respond.
And ya know, I really resonated with this person because I’m also in college and it still baffles me to this day that people still ask me stupid questions and make weird comments about my height. And I’m like, are we not mature enough to move on from this???? And it took me until my senior year of college to realize that this quite literally may never end.
Anyways, what was it like growing up getting comments about my height? And how can you respond to these comments? Tune in to the full episode below to learn more!
Thank you so so much for tuning in to this episode; I really appreciate it, and I appreciate you. As always, feel free to hit me up on my socials @atallgirlspodcast on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest and let me know what you thought of this episode and what other topics you want me to talk about on this podcast. Remember, I want this to be a safe space for you guys. Also, feel free to leave me a review below! I’ll catch you in the next one!
Goodnight and goodbyyyyyeee,
India
