I Asked My Followers What Their Favorite Things About Being Tall Are 

Geeeewwddd morning folks! That would be funny if you’re reading this in the middle of the night, but screw it. I’m typing this at 2 in the morning so good morning :) 

Anyways, I hope you guys are doing amazing; I’m glad to share that I have a new episode for you! I asked on my Instagram story the other day (by the way if you don't follow me on the gram, you should totally do that it’s @atallgirlspodcast) what their favorite thing about being tall is. I believe that I run a relatively tall positive (well even maybe height positive) account and I wanted to do this to get my followers involved and to spread some good vibes for my fellow long limbed beings.

#1 “Reaching Stuff and Being Asked To Do So in Grocery Stores”

I COMPLETELY agree with that! I find being able to reach really high and really hard-to-reach places makes you seem so cool. It’s kinda like you have a super power or something because not a lot of other people can do that. Supergirl who? I only know Super Tall Girl! Haha get it?

As for the part about being asked to reach things in grocery stores, I feel like we should get paid for it. I’m being very serious right now. Do you know the amount of times I’ve been asked to do that? Especially by old ladies. Nothing against them, but hook a girl up. I feel like us tall gals can make a lot of money doing that. That could be a whole job. A whole BUSINESS. We’re here breaking our breaks trying to help others. At least let there be a tip. Let me stop myself, this is getting a little out of hand. 

#2 “Telling off misogynistic jerks that I can look down on/eye to eye.”

YES, this is a big one. I remember saying this is one of my earlier episodes (I think it was about social media toxicity and heightism), but it’s one thing if you have a preference for shorter people, but don’t send hate my way. No sly comments, no jokes, NONE OF THAT. That can only spread negativity and we’re not here for that. And that’s exactly why I’m taller than you. So I can be farther away from your negativity. I give you all the permission in the world to use that statement if anyone tries to come for you because of your height. Stand tall queen :)
