Do Tall Women Know About This Disorder?
We are BACCKKKKKK! With another episode of A Tall Girl’s Podcast! So glad you could make it today :) Before I get into this episode, I do want to say make sure you’re following me on my socials @atallgirlspodcast on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest to stay up to date on all of the latest podcast episodes and catch a glimpse of my everyday life. Also, feel free to leave me a review below and let me know how tall you are!
Speaking of which, I notice that all I do is tell you guys to let me know how tall you are, but I don’t let you guys know how tall I am. I mean, my height is in my social media bios and if you asked in DMs or in my comments, then you already know. But I don’t have my height in my review page. So when I go through my reviews (yes lol I go through my reviews) I compare our heights (but not in a weird way lol).
Because I mean what if we meet in person? You literally never know. I would want to know how much taller or how much shorter you would be compared to me. Does that make sense? Like this brings me back to the Zoom era when everyone working or going to school remotely was in these little boxes or didn’t even turn their cameras on so it was hard to tell how tall they were. And then when everything went back to person, you’re like “oh my gosh, you’re so much shorter than I thought!”
So anyways, I’m gonna reveal my height: I’m 5’10.5”. Do with that information what you will lol.
I have a question for you: Do you ever feel dissatisfied with your height? Do you often compare your height to other people’s heights (in a bad way)? Do you not feel comfortable about your height or believe that you shouldn’t be at the height you're currently at? Okay, I realize that that was more than one question lol, but if you answered yes to two or three of them, then you may have height dysphoria. Let me stop because I’m no way qualified to diagnose anyone.
What is height dysphoria? And how does it affect us tall women? Tune in to the full episode below for more!
Thank you so so much for tuning in to this episode; I really appreciate it and I appreciate you. As always, feel free to hit me up on my socials @atallgirlspodcast and let me know if you knew that height dysphoria was a thing and if you have had any experience with it. Or if you just wanna chit chat about whatever :) Don’t forget to leave a review below and I’ll catch you in the next one!
Goodnight and goodbyyyyyeee,
